The C3 - Center for Culture and Communication (a program of Soros Foundation Hungary) broadcasts the event series locally for the hungarian Internet users.

With the help of the technology from Akamai Inc. it will be possible to watch the online broadcast and matching content directly from C3 (which is connected via high bandwidth to the Budapest Internet Exchange, the backbone of the hungarian Internet Service Providers).

This technology will serve the hungarian Internet community on the long term as well:

The multimedia content of major websites (like CNN, Discovery Channel, Yahoo, Apple, GO network, The New York Times ...) will be served locally (automatically without client side configuration) from Akamai's servers placed at C3, this means about 70% of the total content of those sites.
