The Connect to Server button brings up a dialog box that will allow QuickDNS Manager to connect to a server. The Connect option in the Server menu accomplishes the same goal. QuickDNS can also remember the password of that server for easy administration. To connect to a server, fill in the fully qualified domain name or the IP address. Below that, enter in the password for that server.

A checkbox below the password will give you the option of allowing QuickDNS Manager to remember the server password for you. If configured to auto-connect (please see Preferences), QuickDNS Manager will use that password to connect to that server every time it is launched.

If you lose your connection to a server because of server reboot, or for any other reason, you will need to re-connect. Before attempting to re-connect to a server whose connection has been severed, you need to close all windows pertaining to that server.
