[ !!!placements continue!!! ]

_hÿperlocal is an ongoing platform for offline exhibitions from BrowserBased. We modify the ubiquitous WiFi router by installing open source software packages from http://piratebox.cc/, https://github.com/MaStr/OFFLINEART and enlarge the router's memory by adding USB storage. The files are thus stored locally and thrive on our offline wireless local area network.

The basic tree structure, we use, is as follows: - works: to offer a refreshed selection of net art based on open calls; - aboutBB: to introduce ourselves; - kopimiChapel: to cherish the software necessary to copy the set up; - readinRoom: to carry digital literature of the field; - guestbook: - to record feedback and create space for asynchronous interaction amongst visitors.

_hÿperlocal is hardly taking any volumetric space, the low level “demand” the set up imposes on any exhibition space allows it to travel well and be “welcome” on locations from the Gerrit Rietveld Acadamie to the Arthur Russel Wallace Lectures #2 & to Techno Activists 3rd Monday meetings in Amsterdam to the DEAF 2014, in Rotterdam & to povvera in Berlin. The most recent placement was at ADAF2015 in Athens while we also organized a parallel viewing at GPS: 52.3632242, 4.8699401 which is Node: Buddha on the Pesthuislaan and is aptly named The Budapest, WG Terrein, in Amsterdam.
