Our location
Our Department, esthablished in 1927, runs with 28 beds. Our area covers 2 towns and 26 villages, with 110.000 inhabitants altogether.
In addition to the standard medical care, we take part in a establishing a quality assurance system. In 1997, we were awarded the IIASA-SHIBA Quality Prize and where admitted to the National Quality Club. We take part in the development and application of professional guidelines of otorhinolaryngology in Hungary. We are the first in the country to adopt, at the level of a town hospital, objective auditory examination methods, and we introduced the full-range objective otological screening examinations of newborns.
