All its symbolism aside, the structure of a cobweb creates a special articulation of planer surfaces. Its original dynamics, tension, and the accuracy and speed of the calculations underlying the model formulate an equally sensitive and vulnerable phenomenon. Tensile strength and processor-speed are coordinates that describe substance in its extreme, which then gives the piece its exposition. The structure of planer shapes that construct the model recall the geometrical procedure of “triangulation”, yet the calculation of the nodes in the computer is much more an associative and less a mathematical procedure. In practice, these points can be approached through an exhaustive method: we are producing alternatives with innumerable presumptions - this is what the computer does - and in an ideal situation, we believe that all of them are correct - this is what we do.
