Internet is a very good opportunity for writing. Somebody for example has had to
jot down some symbols for this page to be read. This person, I can tell you, enjoyed
writing these sentences very much. Other can also try it.
We are on the highway of free communication. For Hungarians and other non-native
English speakers there is a small barrier, though.
Most of the highway is in English. So here I would like to invite all those,
who do not speak English as their mother tongue, but studying it, to practice writing
in English and help each other.
I would like to give you a chance to publish your writings on the Internet.
Though anybody can have some space somewhere to publish something and somebody
will quite possibly read it some time in the future, I believe it is much better
to put things together at one place and make it explicit for everybody. What I mean
is an electronic - or if you prefer - a virtual magazine written by non-native English
speakers.
"Who will read it?" one may ask. I do not know. Perhaps John Smith from London or Myoko
Ono from Japan, but I will try to make the magazine as wide-spread as possible. There
are lots of English speakers and learners out there who are interested in other
countries, languages, people, cultures and lots of other things.
All in all, I think putting my writing on the Net is very exciting and doing it together
with others makes it even more interesting. Let's see what will happen. Perhaps it is
a good chance to make friends, to see what others think of those things that I am
thinking of, my hobbies, musical interest and lots of other things. Only, in order to
be able to read each others ideas we have to write, so come on.
Have a look at the
MagaziNet and also contribute to any of the coloums.
Sorry, I am still working on the rest:
