Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Children’s Home, Szászváros (Orăştie)

Unfortunately, the social conditions in our country haven't improved in recent years. Thus, more and more children are looking for love and care in children's homes. The Transylvanian Franciscans generously offered the Fransiscan cloister in Szászváros for the help of troubled children. Thus, on January 29, 1999 the Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Children's Home was born. Here, we also formed social families. Today, 75 children live here in 6 families with their foster parents.
