Vladimir Péter
Born in 1947 in Budapest. Graduated at the Hungarian College of Applied Arts in 1973. Teacher at the College since 1983, full professor since 1997. Winner of the Munkácsy Prize, Distinguished Artist, Doctor of Liberal Arts. Since 1993 member of the Széchenyi Academy. In 1975 helped founding the artist group Manual. In 1994  founded a jewelry manufacture under the name ‘Wladis’. His jewels and goldsmith works won prizes at world fairs and international exhibitions (Mexico City, Erfurt, Jablonec, Munich, London). Took part in numerous exhibitions: his first major individual show was in 1977 in the Hungarian National Gallery, the last in Hamburg. He has works owned by the Hungarian Museum of Applied Arts and the Koch Collection.
