Gyula Pauer
Sculptor, born in Budapest in 1941. After studying at the Secondary School of Arts he spent four years of apprenticeship beside Alajos DeBattista, the Italian sculptor. At the end of the sixties he got engaged in the underground avantgarde movement and developed the concept of „pseudo-art”. From 1970 he turned to theater and worked at several theatres around the world. From the second half of the eighties he started making sight-plans for films. He has been a teacher of the Academy since 1990 and a member of the Széchenyi Academy of Literature and Arts since 1993.  1993–Munkacsy Prize.
