György Kemény Been in existence since 1936, been drawing since 1942, working since 1961 and exhibiting since 1968. What I work on: posters for films and exhibitions, catalogue designs, book and LP covers, emblems; worked as art director of the IPM Magazine. My greatest project was when I worked as curator for the “100+1 Year Old Hungarian Poster” exhibition at Mû-csarnok in 1986. Exhibited pictures, sculptures, installations, large drawings. Mainly for my posters, I was awarded in-ternational and national prizes. Presently I design the cover page of the magazine Szinház, and the weekly Élet és Irodalom is publishing a series of my drawings. In April the Gallery of Pécs will hold an ex-hibition of the drawings I have made in past four decades.
