Bálint Havas Born in 1971 in Budapest. Educated at the School of Fine Art and Applied Arts. Been a member of the Studio of Young Artists since 1994. Graduated at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts in the Department of Painting, Pic-torial Graphics and Pedagogy in 1997. Presently takes part in a master course at the same college.  Had five individual exhibitions since 1995, the last one in Bucharest in 1998. Of the several group exhibitions, the one in Budapest Gallery deserves special mention, where his series Spatial Images  I-V was shown. In 1992 won first prize at the Barcsay competition; winner of the Béla Gruber scholarship in 1997, and of the Derkovits scholarship in 1998.
