Waliczky Tamás
1959-ben született Budapesten.
Animátor, festõ, komputer-animátor. 1983 óta dolgozik számítógépeken.
Jelenleg a karlsruhe-i Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie (ZKM) munkatársa,
ahol mint mûvész és komputer-animátor dolgozik. A Hochschule der Bildenden Kunste Saar vendégtanára.
1968-74 között animációs filmeket és képregényeket rajzolt.
1974-80 között magánúton tanult rajzolni és festeni.
1980-82 között a Pannónia Rajzfilmstúdiónál dolgozott Budapesten.
1983-tól 1987-ig a Caesar CG Studio-nál dolgozott mint komputerjátékok grafikai tervezõje,
majd a Novotrade Software Studio-nál alkalmazták grafikusként.
Ezután a londoni Halas & Batchelor Co.-nál kezdett dolgozni komputer-animátorként,
itt készítette el elsõ komputer-animációit, Pictures és Is there any room for me here? címmel.
1989-ben a Novotrade CG Studio társalapítója,
1990-ben pedig igazgatója lett.
1991-ben a Wallada Bioscop Ltd. igazgatójává nevezték ki.
Elõadásokat tartott a budapesti Képzõmûvészeti Fõiskolán.
1992-ben a karlsruhe-i ZKM-ben befejezte The Garden címû komputer-animációját egyéves
ösztöndíj keretében, majd 1994-ben a ZKM munkatársa lett.
1996-ban a budapesti C3 nemzetközi kuratóriumi testületének tagja volt.
1997 óta a Hochschule der Bildenden Kunste Saar vendégtanára.
