QuickDNS Manager gives you the ability to disable a zone without deleting it. A server will not respond to queries for a disabled zone, but will retain the zone data so that it can be re-enabled later. Enabled and disabled zones appear differently in the Manager window. Enabled zones will appear in regular print. Disabled zones will be grayed out.

To enable or disable a zone, select it by single clicking on it in the Manager window. After that, open the Zone menu along the top of the screen and select either Enable or Disable.
