How do I contact Tech Support?

Q: I keep contacting technical support but get no answer. Why?
A: All most all technical support issues are resolved within 24 hours, many within a few hours. If you have not received a response from technical support within 24 hours of making the request you can assume something is wrong.

Every week Men & Mice gets a number of E-mail support requests that we can’t resolve. This happens when customers email support from a zone that is having problems. You can’t hear our answer if you can’t receive E-mail.

If you are having problems with a zone, always remember to use an E-mail address from outside the zone. In the past some customers have created free email accounts at Hotmail.com for the purpose of receiving DNS support.

Q: How can I help tech support help me?
A:
1. If engaged in a back and forth e-mail conversation with Tech support, remember to include previous messages with the E-mail. Men & Mice tech support deals with many clients per day, and it is much easier for them if they don’t have to look up previous messages.
2. If your problem involves your zone files make sure that your DNS servers allow zone transfers. It is very difficult to diagnose a misconfigured zone that we can’t see.
