bcc*: Barrio Fever SMS Service

As the Bear sleeps the whole winter through, in the safe hibernation cave, he has no need whatsoever to sleep during the rest of the year. Apart from early spring mating period (sex in April) and annual shopping for Microsoft Word updates, he spends the rest of the year inventing stories of various kind and posture.

Barrio Fever stories are told early in the morning, during the late-morning dreams, (when the sounds of the dawn start breaking in) and continue into the fragile hours of just regained consciousness of the Subjects (while they are dressing up, washing their sleepy faces in the old fashioned water basins and waiting for the public privatised transport to take them to their job in the suburban factories).

Barrio Fever is a physiological state which occurs periodically during latemorning sleep (every 23 minutes). There is a heightened brain activation during this time, increased breathing and heart rate, genital engorgement, and paralysis of bodily movement (the Subject is highly aroused yet fast asleep).

During the late-morning dreams the Subjects seek out and engage with the external world to satisfy inner biological needs.

The Bear drives slowly through the friendly neighborhood in his Blue (Smart!?) Convertible Car (BCC), sensual stories and soft music coming from fine speakers. After Subjects are gone to work (dozing off, clinging on the handles and back seats of the trams), Bear drives to the local café to have well desired breakfast. Opens his I-book to update Barrio Fever stories collection. The Bear has lunch. Opens his Pro Tools Sound Software to create more sounds and songs. As early evening is approaching, Subjects start returning from their work back to the “barrio” (dozing off clinging, on the handles and back seats of the trams), to have their beans and rice dinners and check evening Journal on B&W tvs. Then they send the SMS messages for their beloved family and friends to Bears mobile phone. Bear will then drive to the houses of the desired recipients and read the message through his high quality microphone and HiFi, these wishes mellowed with one of Bear′s songs.

By 9 pm the Neigborhood sleeps, sweating.
