"...A magyar közönség nemrégiben egy kisméretű, de koncentrált bemutatón nyerhetett bepillantást a hamburgi művész, Christoph Rauch munkásságába... A bemutatott műveket Rauch részben a műteremben, részben a helyszínen, a Liget Galéria sajátosságai és feltételei alapján készítette el... A helyszínt a visszafogott, de hangsúlyozottan tömbszerű faliszobrok határolják be. Egyes... képhordozók pontosan megszerkesztett másait Rauch imaginárius térbe helyezi át, melyek saját ideális környezetükkel együtt festészetként jelennek meg egy-egy plasztikus test oldalán. Ezek a leképezések a saját környezetük és megjelenési helyük ellenére sem maradnak elszigeteltek és nem keltik egy optimális fejlődési sorozat végállomásának illúzióját. Megduplázódnak vagy párokba rendeződnek, tükröződnek a velük szemben álló tárgyban, a csoportozatukban vagy az egész sorozatban... Szemlélésük emlékezések és következtetések sorozatának bizonyul."

- painted sculptures /thin boards, gypsum, acrylic/ - the show was arranged within the exchange programme with the ROJEKTFÖRDERUNG BILDENDE KUNST of Hamburg.

   ``...At this small but concentrated show, the Hungarian audience could glance into the activity of Christoph Rauch from Hamburg... Rauch made the pieces of art partly in the studio and partly on the spot based on the peculiarities and conditions of the Liget gallery... The space was defined by the reticent, but pointedly massive wall sculptures. Rauch placed the precisely constructed reproductions of some mediums over an imagined space, which, together with their own ideal milieus, appear as paintings on the side of each plastic body. In spite of their own milieu and outward place, these modellings do not remain isolated and do not produce the illusion of the terminal point of an optimal series of development. They duplicate or become settled in pairs, they are reflected in the object opposite, in their group or in the whole series... Looking over them the series proves to be of remembrances and implications.``
