Thalli III.

computer installation; electronic circuits, clay, 2003

In the exhibition space, in many out-of-the-way places, virtually built into the wall, or growing out from it, I hid biological models constructed from electrical circuits. They aim to illustrate the reproductive process of thalloid plants. Life functions are represented by illuminated, pulsating LED's, that had arrived on the spot long before the exhibition's building works started. They came into the exhibition space continuously, step by step, as if they had evolved from, and lived on the wall. It is just like some kind of "artistic infection" that, after a long incubation period, inundate the host completely, in the form of a visual art exhibition.
