Our school is called Puskas Tivadar Telecommunications Secondary School. It is sponsored by MATAV, the biggest telecommunications company in Hungary. It provides high level conditions, and students also get some grants. There is no tuition fee and we get the school books free.
Puskas is located in the heart of 'Ferencvaros', in the 9th district of Budapest. You can easily get there from 'Nepliget' underground station. After 10 minutes walk you can spot the two-storey, niceley renewed building.
There are some laboratories in our school, where we study our future profession. Students like spending their times in the computer labs. There are good sport facilities in the new gym. If you can't live without smoking you can do it on the 'Students' Island.
At school we learn professional, art, and science subjects. Our studies are focused on modern technologies and computers. We are expected to take two computer exams and an intermediate level of English exam during the school years. In the fourth year we have to take a final exam of human and science subjects, and at the end of the fifth year we have to take a school leaving exam of professional subjects.
