Original: Henry Purcell, a 17th-century English composer.

The pun made out of his surname in our opinion refers to canned ('parcelled') music, and through that, to our present habits of culture consumption. Also, implied is the possibility of percieving past personalities and works independently, if that is possible at all; as opposed to looking at them through pre-packaged information (which may or may not be a bad thing – it is up to the individual to decide).

Note: Two years ago, those who were interested, remembered the 300th anniversary of Henry Purcell's death.
