Having discussed this pun with students and colleagues of various ages and nationalities, we could say that it is one of the most compressed ones we have ever come across. By using it, allusions may be made to various representations of sexual (in)equality as regards social encounters where passing of information is (and of course was) involved, such as education and politics. Also, it may refer to the extent that this new means of communication reorganizes components of self, of which gender is a rather important one.
