The Globalization Project

at the

University of Chicago

is a three year international and interdisciplinary research program on globalization. During 1996-97, the Project's theme will be

Territoriality: Belonging and Sovereignty

Regions of particular interest will be E. Europe, S.E. & E. Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The Project anticipates awarding a

Senior Fellowship

(3-4 weeks) of up to $4500

and two

Post-Doctoral Fellowships

(9-10 weeks) of up to $6000, both residential, to cover roundtrip airfare and stipend.

All applicants should submit a c.v., a published article, and a research statement (1-3 pages). Post-Doctoral Fellowship applicants should submit three letters of recommendation.
