Oil Baseboard

painted wall, video camara, vhs player and video mixer / 160 x 1000 cm An oil green baseboard has been painted onto the wall of the gallery. A yellow stripe at the top of the green is broken in places by video monitors. The closed circuit image visible on the monitors is mixed with a recorded video image of a forest which co ntinues the horizontal line of the yellow painted stripe. When viewers step in front of the camera they can also be seen on these monitors, divided by the mixed-in video image of the forest.
