Kosztolányi Dezsõ (1885-1936). Költõ, író, újságíró, mûfordító. A szimbolista költészet egyik legnagyobb alakja. Mûvei többek közt: A szegény kisgyermek panaszai (1910), A bús férfi panaszai (1924), Pacsirta (1924), Az Aranysárkány (1924), Édes Anna 1926), Meztelenül (1928), Esti Kornél (1933).

KOSZTOLÁNYI Dezsõ (1885-1936) was a poet, prose writer, journalist, translator, and one of the great figures of the Hungarian symbolist poetry. Among his works are: „The Poor child’s Complaints” (1910), „The Sad Man’s Complaints” (1924), „Skylark” (1924), „The Golden Dragon (1924), „Sweet Anna” (1926), „Naked” (1928), „Esti Kornél” (1933). The piece in this issue is the ninth chapter of the legendary „Esti Kornél” stories.
