Culture 2000
- Extension of the Culture 2000 framework programme
On 16 April, the European Commission approved a proposal for a Decision of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Decision No. 508/2000/EC of 14 February 2000 establishing the Culture 2000 programme. This text provides for the programme to be extended in the same form for the years 2005 and 2006.

- Future cultural programme
On 14 April, the European Commission launched a new phase of consultation with a view to preparing a future cultural programme that will eventually replace the Culture 2000 programme. This consultation will continue until 10 July 2003. You are all invited to take part by sending us your contributions by e-mail.
