Nordic-Caucasian Web Competition 2003

In April 2003 the first winner of the Nordic-Caucasian Web Competition will be appointed. Cultural organizations in Caucasus, Scandinavia and the Baltic Region are invited to participate. Until February 28th 2003 the nomination process is open to suggestions.

A jury with professional artists, journalists, designers and web experts from Caucasus and Scandinavia will select the winner. The result of the work of the jury will be announced on the website on April 15th 2003.

The selection of the winners will guided by two criteria:
1) Usability. The site should be easy to navigate.
2) Aesthetic and artistic value
By announcing this competition we want to encourage organizations, artists, web designers and students who tries to develop the artistic and democratic potential of the Internet.
The winner is primarily awarded with the honour, but also with free Internet hosting at www.natverkstan.net for three years and a Digital Camera.

Organizers:
The Nordic-Caucasian Web Competition is one of the projects that have grown out of the common work within the North-South Cooperation Project, aiming at stimulating exchange of knowledge in the field of culture and cultural management between Caucasus and Scandinavia. It's organized by The Caucasian Art Managers Network (CAMN) and the Stichting Caucasus Foundation, Tbilisi, Baku and Yerevan together with Natverkstan Kultur I Vast, Goteborg.
