Mousetrap is a friendly demonstration of nuclear fission: for more information, see http://www.santafe.edu/projects/swarm/examples/mousetrap/ Mousetrap demonstrates Swarm's facility for discrete event simulation. Instead of broadcasting "step" messages to all objects on a regular clock, the schedule execution in mousetrap only executes "trigger" events to mousetraps when it is appropriate that they be triggered. The result of a trigger event on one mousetrap is to schedule trigger events on neighbouring mousetraps. Please note that this application isn't running perfectly right now: the graphs don't work, and the quit condition isn't active.
