Egy titkos "nyilvános postaláda":
az "eredeti" Cryptogram WWW változata
A demó a következôképpen mûködik:
minden üzenet, amelyet Ön a lap alján található ablakba ír és a "küld"
gomb segítségével elküld, "virtuális szoborrá" (Cryptogrammá) titkosítódik.
A szerveren csupán a "szobrok" érhetôk el a közönség számára,
ezek bármilyen "VRML browser" segítségével megtekinthetôk.
A szoborra kattintva az üzenet dekódolható, ezt a demó változatban egy
a szerveren futó cgi-program végzi, hasonlóan a kódoláshoz.
A demó-változatban az "eredeti kulcs" (a Leonardo-lómodell)
segítségével történik a kódolás-dekódolás. Amennyiben szeretné
mindennapi elektronikus levelezéshez használni a Cryptogram-módszert,
akkor szüksége lesz a kódolást-dekódolást végzõ programokon kívül
saját "kulcsra" is szüksége lesz, melyet csak azokkal oszt meg,
akikkel levelezni szeretne. A kulcs legegyszerûbben a Cryptogram
grafikus interface-szel rendelkezõ java verziójával készíthetõ el,
de természetesen némi jártasság birtokában bármilyen egyszerû
három dimenziós modellezõ-program is használható erre a célra.

A "demó-postafiók" egyben példa arra, hogyan hozhatók létre "virtuális társaságok"
a "Cryptogram" módszer alkalmazásával: bárki saját kulcsot készíthet és ehhez hasonló nyitott,
ámde komolyan érdeklôdô "asztaltársaságot" hozhat létre, s amennyiben nem
teszi nyilvánossá a dekódoláshoz szükséges kulcsot, üzeneteik teljesen rejtve
maradhatnak a külvilág elôl, sôt, a kommunikáció tényét is elfedik a VRML fileok.

Ha pedig új (kódolt)üzenetet szeretne küldeni, adja meg az üzenet címét(ez lesz a WRL file neve) és
írja be levelét, majd nyomja meg a "Küld" gombot. (Üzenetének "szoborba kódolt" változatát megtalálja
a postafiókban.)

An encrypted "public mailbox":
the WWW version of the "original" Cryptogram
The demo works in the following way:
Any message what you type into the textbox
(located on the bottom of the page)
and send with the "send button"
is encrypted into a "virtual sculpture"(to a Cryptogram).
Only these
"sculptures" are accessible to the public:
anyone can examine the WRL files with any VRML browser.
You can decode the original message by clicking on
the sculpture. In the demo the encoding and decoding
is done by a cgi-program running on the server.
In the demo-version the "original key" (based on the
Leonardo-cavalier) is used for the en/de-cryption. If you
would like to use the Cryptogram-system in your everyday
e-mailing, both the programs doing the en/decryption
and a unique "key-file"(what you will share only with
your mailing-partners) is needed. The easiest way to
create your keyfile is to use the java version of
Cryptogram (the one with a graphical interface), but
you can use one the simplest three dimensional
modelling softwares as well.

This "demo-mailbox" could be considered as an appeal
to create "virtual communities" using the
method of "Cryptogram". Anyone can set up his own
keys to start a similar, (in one way open, but
still exclusive) communication-forum. However,
communicating in a totally encrypted way is
also possible for a group of people: with not
publishing the "key", the messages are unreadable
for outsiders, and the fact of communication is also
hidden behind the VRML files.
